Barry m lush max factor Nip + Fab Being Boss Pudding Sunday

Another month, another favourites. The one thing you really notice with doing these monthly favourites posts is how quick the month seems to go! This month was a bit of a spendy one with a big Boots order delivered to my door and an impromptu trip to Dublin to see some friends. It was also a big month for some motivational podcasts to get me in a productive spring mindset.

I do realise I am a few days late posting this but one of my NON favourites for the month is that some brainbox cut our phone line outside our house so back to no internet :( But oh well on to favourites.

This shampoo bar is a stand out favourite this month and one I have been going on about for a few weeks now. I already did a review (you can read that HERE!) about how much I love it but to summarise it smells amazing and works great for greasy hair.

I had wanted to try a cream blush for a while now but I was finding it hard to find a good drugstore version. I came across this Max Factor blush on the Boots website, not realising how tiny it was but fell in love with the flush red colour. I may look a bit like Noddy when I apply it but one I blend it out with my fingers it leaves a lovely natural glow. With powder blushes it can sometimes looked caked on top of your skin but I now find with a cream blush it sinks into the skin and looks really natural. I even use it on no makeup days to add a bit of colour to my cheeks and even lips!

I had been hearing a lot of talk lately about the Barry M polishes so I had to try some for myself. I went for two different formulas but I was more gone on the colours that I didn’t actually notice until I was home. The beautiful royal blue colour is called “blackberry” and is in the Gelly effect formula, a super shiny finish, as the name would suggest. The perfect mint green is called “pole position” and in the quick dry formula. Both take about two coats to get a strong colour but last really well on my nails.

Being the lazy lady that I am the idea of adding another step to my skincare routine was not something I was looking to do. But since my skin was just not behaving itself lately I thought I would bite the bullet and get something to combat my ever growing in size pores. I use this in the evening before my moisteriser and I have really noticed my skin getting smoother.

I am seriously obsessed with this podcast. I find the women involved (Kathleen and Emily) so inspiring I just want to get out there and do stuff every time I listen to it. I have listened to. A 3-hour drive home does that to you. I’ll do a separate post on my other current favourites.
