Bloggers Made Me Do It | Beauty Favourites

If there is one thing I shame myself in being, it is an easy target for blog and youtube marketing. All it takes is for one of my favourite youtubers to harp on about something long enough before I have to get my hands on it and try it out for myself. Here are few of my favourite picks I couldn’t help but fall into the #sponsored trap and purchase.

Diptyque Figuier Candle - This candle costs far too much money, €25 and it’s the size of a thumb! I can’t even justify it and I usually can make some rhyme or reason for all my purchases but as my friend exclaimed when I bought it “You are literally burning money!”. In saying that there is so much talk about Diptyque I had to see what all the fuss was about. I went for the classic Figuier and the scent is bliss, not too sweet, not too musky. I could never bring myself to buy a full size but if I was to buy something fancy it is a great gift option.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - Urban Decay has been a favourite of mine since college but it was more for the mad coloured eyeshadows, sticky glosses and spiral eyelashes. I feel like as I have matured (makeup wise anyway) so has Urban Decay. I really love the whole Naked line but the basics pallets is my daily staple. Perfect pallet on its own but works as a great base for other shadows too. I think every blogger/ human lady either already has this in their makeup arsenal or needs to get it.
Benefit Professional Primer - This was a rushed airport purchase but works great for my skin type but definitely overhyped for what it does. I find my makeup sits well but if I don't target it (if I don't throw it on my face in a panic in the morning rush!) it can really dry out certain areas of my face.

Maybelline Eraser Concealer - This concealer was a weird one to see pop up in the Youtube circle, see as its not ridiculously expensive and actually easy to get your hands on it! The sponge applicator is a bit gimmicky but whatever way the colour/texture is formulated it works great for dark circles.

Anastasia Brow Wiz - This may only be an Irish thing but when a friend or relative heads over on a trip to the states you hand them a list of items that you are unable to get in the shops over here, even though if you really wanted it you can easily order it online. This was one such purchase. I have pretty full eyebrows and a fringe so filling them isn't as needed step but there is so much talk about the Brow Wiz pencil I needed to see it to believe it for myself. I like how thin the pencil itself is, really able to get fine detail and also the colour match for me is perfect. It isn't something I need to use everyday but if you are someone who likes to keep their brow game on fleek then this is for you.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner - Another “Coming to America” purchase for me, in fact I now have a store of 4 backups in my makeup drawer I love it so much. Gel liners always bugged me how they always dried out, liquid liners always got out of control too quickly and felt tip liners are basically repackaged pound shop markers. This liner has none of these worries and is well worth the Sephora shipping if want to get your hands on it.
